Why 1 Minute?

How can a minute of silence possibly change anything, let alone save the world? What’s a minute when the world is on fire?

Here’s the deal. You are more powerful than you think, and together we are more powerful than we can imagine. In fact, the fate of our planet and of the human race essentially lie in our hands, and more specifically, in our minds.

Our thoughts are creative potential. Everything that’s man-made first began with a thought. Everything. Our cultures, our philosophies and art, our tools and languages, everything that surrounds you at this moment – indeed much of our evolutionary process – began with a simple thought that was given attention, intention and direction.

We are, in essence and by nature, powerful co-creators.

So, we have thought. Then comes focus. Have you ever tried walking, riding a bike or driving while NOT looking in the direction of where you wanted to end up? In summary, focusing our thoughts towards a goal is how we end up getting anywhere or achieving and creating anything in life.

However, for the most part, our thoughts are either unconscious, habitual, distracted, or worse, hijacked and used against our highest and long-term good. We’re basically asleep at the wheel (or handlebars).
It’s time to wake up and realise just how powerful we are. It’s time to begin using our thoughts to build the world we WANT to live in, the world of our dreams. Simply by thinking of the world we want, we create a focus and a direction for our thoughts. And when that focus is given attention and intention, what inevitably follows is inspired and empowered action!

We are more than 7 billion thinking, co-creating individuals on this planet. No need to wait for a handful of politicians to make the decisions necessary for our well-being and very survival. Our own personal decisions, the ones we make every day throughout the day, are what have created the world we are now living in.

And so, they can, through conscious direction, create the world we want and know can be. More than ever, our decisions and choices will decide our common fate.
